1.Product Overview
ASTM A213 T22 (corresponding to European EN standard 1.7380) is a chromium-molybdenum low-alloy heat-resistant steel. The Studded Fin Tube is a high-efficiency heat transfer component made by welding stud-like fins on the surface of seamless cold-drawn T22 tubes. Its defining characteristics are the Cr-Mo element composition (providing excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance and creep resistance) and the studded fin structure (greatly increasing the external heat transfer area). 5.T22 Studded Fin Tube vs. Similar Products
T22 vs. T11 Studded Fin Tube: T11 is a low Cr-Mo steel (Cr~1.25%, Mo~0.5%), while T22 has higher Cr/Mo content—its high-temperature strength and creep resistance are better, suitable for working conditions up to 593℃; T11 is more cost-effective, applicable to lower-temperature heat exchange scenarios.
