ASME SB163 UNS N02201 is a standard specification for seamless nickel alloy tubes made from commercially pure, low-carbon nickel (Grade 201). Excellent resistance to caustic alkalies (e.g., sodium hydroxide), dry chlorine, and many reducing acids. It is highly resistant to stress-corrosion cracking in chloride environments. Specifically, these tubes are manufactured in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (Section II, Part B) and are primarily designed for use in heat exchangers, condensers, and similar high-temperature or corrosive fluid-transfer equipment.
