Product Description

Furnaces Alloy Studded Tubes ASTM A335 P5 Ideal For Corrosive Environment

ASTM A335/ASME SA335 specification for seamless ferritic alloy steel pipe for high temperature service, for example: pipeline systems of power stations, petrochemical plants and oil refineries, etc. This standard encompasses multiple grades, each corresponding to a specific alloy chemical composition and performance. Grade is usually indicated by the letter "P" followed by a number, which roughly represents one percent of the chromium content in the alloy.

It must be manufactured by seamless processes, such as hot rolling, cold drawing or extrusion.

Related Tests: Chemical Analysis, Tension Test ( Tensile Strength, Yield Strength, Elongation), Hydrostatic Test, Nondestructive Examination (Eddy Current Testing-ET, Ultrasonic Testing-UT), Hardness Test, Metastographic Examination and other Supplementary Requirements.

Studded Tubes

In petrochemical industry, studded tubes are widely used. Especially in tubular furnaces, in order to enhance the heat transfer effect outside the tube, the heat transfer element often adopts studded tubes.

Studded tubes typically produced from materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy or copper, providing durability and resistance to corrosion.

Application

Cooling systems

Common in cooling towers, condensers, and evaporators.

Heat Exchangers,Furnaces

Furnace waterwall panels of chemical recovery boilers;Metallurgical Furnaces; Petrochemical Heaters; Waste Incinerators.

Widely used in industrial heat exchangers for power generation, petrochemical processes, and HVAC systems.

Marine Applications

Used in ship cooling systems and other marine heat exchangers where robust performance is required.
