G Type Embedded Finned Tubes ASTM A179 Carbon Steel For Boiler Economizers
ASTM A179 specifies the requirements for seamless cold drawn, low carbon steel tube intended for high-temperature service, like heat exchangers, condensers and heat transfer equipment.
A179 exhibits good weldability, ductility, and resistance to steam and corrosion.

The Al1060/1100 fins are mechanically interlocked and fixed within pre-machined spiral grooves on the outer wall of the A179 tube.
The thermal resistance between the fins and the base tube is extremely low. The maximum operating temperature can reach 350℃ (significantly higher than L/KL wound finned tubes). The fin structure is stable, exhibiting excellent resistance to vibration, thermal cycling, and thermal expansion. The fin surface is smooth, making it easy to clean and remove accumulated dust. It offers a large heat exchange area while maintaining a small footprint.
Low-carbon steel base tubes with aluminum fins are used for gas-side heat exchange; perfectly matched for flue gas, hot air, and steam cooling/heating, offering high cost-effectiveness.

ASTM A179 low-carbon steel base tubes are not suitable for strong acids, strong chloride brine, or highly corrosive media. For severely corrosive conditions, the base tube should be replaced with stainless steel (TP304/316L) or alloy steel (A213 T11/T22) G-type finned tubes.We also can offer finned tubes of these materiales.
