An ASTM B366 UNS N06022 180° SR Return Bend is a wrought (forged or seamless) nickel-alloy pipe fitting designed to reverse pipeline flow by 180°, routing it back parallel to its entry point. Manufactured from Hastelloy C22 — a Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Tungsten alloy renowned for exceptional resistance to both oxidizing and reducing corrosive media — this fitting is produced under ASTM B366 (material specification) with dimensions generally per ASME B16.9. The "SR" (Short Radius) designation means its center-to-center return dimension equals 1.0 × Nominal Pipe Size (NPS), making it ideal for extremely tight spaces such as heat exchanger bundles.
