100% HT / ET" – Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT)
This is a critical requirement for heat exchanger tubes. It means every length of tube undergoes both hydrostatic testing and eddy current testing.

Test Method Purpose
Hydrostatic Test (HT) Tube filled with water at specified pressure (e.g., 10–20 MPa, per ASTM A213) Check for leaks, burst strength, and overall integrity
Eddy Current Test (ET) Electromagnetic coil passes through tube; detects changes in impedance Find surface & near‑surface defects (pits, cracks, inclusions, wall thinning)

*Every linear metre of every tube is tested – not just random samples. This is standard for high‑reliability heat exchanger tubes.

It's genuine 321H — titanium-stabilized, so no worries about sensitization or intergranular corrosion during welding. Our welder said it welded nicely with no cracking.
