Product Overview

ASTM A312 TP310S Wave Tube for High-Temperature Heat Exchangers is a high-temperature stainless steel heat transfer tube designed for demanding thermal service where enhanced heat transfer, oxidation resistance, and material stability are required.

Manufactured from ASTM A312 TP310S austenitic stainless steel, the tube contains approximately 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel, providing excellent resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures. Its wave-shaped tube profile increases flow disturbance and can improve heat transfer compared with a conventional smooth tube under suitable operating conditions.

The wave geometry can be customized according to the heat exchanger design, including wave height, pitch, tube diameter, wall thickness, and overall tube length. This makes TP310S wave tubes suitable for high-temperature gas-to-gas and gas-to-liquid heat transfer applications where both thermal performance and resistance to elevated-temperature oxidation are important.

The actual wave geometry, pressure rating, temperature limit, and allowable operating conditions should be determined according to the equipment design, process conditions, and applicable engineering standards.
