Product Description
ASME SA213 T9 High Frequency Welded Finned Tubes for Boilers

Product Description

ASME SA213 T9 High Frequency Welded Finned Tubes are specially designed for boiler heat transfer systems where high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and efficient heat recovery are required. Manufactured with ASTM/ASME SA213 T9 alloy steel base tubes and high-frequency welded fins, these tubes provide excellent thermal performance and long-term operating reliability under demanding boiler conditions.

SA213 T9 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel grade containing approximately 9% chromium and 1% molybdenum, offering superior resistance to high-temperature oxidation and creep compared with conventional carbon steel boiler tubes. The material is widely selected for high-temperature heat recovery equipment, including boiler economizers, waste heat boilers, and other thermal energy recovery systems.

Through advanced high-frequency resistance welding technology, the fins are firmly bonded to the tube surface, ensuring efficient heat transfer, strong mechanical integrity, and reliable performance during continuous operation with high-temperature flue gas.

Product Features
1. Excellent High-Temperature Performance

ASME SA213 T9 alloy steel provides improved thermal stability and oxidation resistance compared with carbon steel tubes. It is suitable for applications involving elevated temperature flue gas and continuous heat exchange.

2. Strong Fin-to-Tube Bonding

The high-frequency welded fin structure creates a durable metallurgical bond between fins and tubes, reducing thermal resistance and maintaining heat transfer efficiency throughout the service life.

3. Enhanced Heat Transfer Efficiency

Compared with plain tubes, finned tubes significantly increase external heat transfer area, allowing boiler systems to achieve higher thermal efficiency while reducing equipment size.

4. Suitable for Severe Operating Conditions

SA213 T9 finned tubes are commonly used in systems requiring:

  • High-temperature operation
  • Long service life
  • Resistance to oxidation
  • Stable heat recovery performance
Common Applications

ASME SA213 T9 High Frequency Welded Finned Tubes are commonly used in:

  • Boiler Economizers
  • Waste Heat Boilers
  • HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator)
  • Power Generation Boilers
  • Petrochemical Heat Recovery Systems
  • Industrial Heat Recovery Equipment
  • High-Temperature Heat Exchangers
