High Frequency Welded Finned Tubes with A312 TP304H base tube and SS304 fins are premium stainless steel finned tubes designed for high-temperature and corrosive environments. The combination of TP304H base tube (high-temperature austenitic stainless steel) and SS304 fins provides excellent heat transfer efficiency, superior oxidation resistance, and long service life in demanding industrial applications.


These tubes are manufactured using the high-frequency resistance welding process, ensuring a strong metallurgical bond between the fins and the base tube without the use of filler material.


Structure of TP304H / SS304 High Frequency Welded Finned Tubes


The finned tube consists of three main components:


  • Base Tube: ASTM A312 TP304H seamless stainless steel tube, serving as the fluid carrier and providing high-temperature strength.
  • Fins: SS304 (UNS S30400) stainless steel strip fins helically wound around the base tube.
  • Welding Process: High-frequency resistance welding creates a continuous, high-integrity bond between the fin root and the base tube outer surface. This solid-state welding method ensures minimal heat-affected zone and excellent mechanical strength.
