ASTM A106 Gr.B Embedded Finned Tubes for Superheaters

ASTM A106 Gr.B embedded finned tubes are specially designed for superheater applications where efficient heat transfer, high-temperature resistance, and stable mechanical performance are required. Manufactured with seamless ASTM A106 Grade B carbon steel tubes as the base material, these G-type embedded fin tubes provide an increased heat transfer surface area through mechanically inserted fins, making them suitable for industrial boilers, waste heat recovery systems, and power generation equipment.

The embedded fin structure is produced by machining a spiral groove on the outer surface of the base tube and inserting the fin strip into the groove. This mechanical locking process improves the contact between the tube and fin, ensuring reliable heat conduction under continuous high-temperature operating conditions.

The finning is tight — you can tell they used a proper cold-forming process because the fins don't move at all when you try to wiggle them. We've had issues before with other suppliers where the fins would come loose after a few thermal cycles, but these ones feel solid.
