JIS G3461 STB 340 Carbon Steel Heat Exchanger Tube Low-Temperature Boiler Tube

 

 

A seamless carbon steel tube made to JIS G3461 grade STB 340, with minimum 340 MPa tensile strength, for heat transfer service in boilers and heat exchangers. The main advantage of STB 340 is that it delivers lowest life-cycle cost for applications where temperature is ≤400°C and fluids are not highly corrosive. This material used in economizers, firetubes, feedwater heaters, and LP evaporators. It combines strength, ductility, weldability, and availability at a price point that is hard to beat.

Rule of thumb:
