ASTM A179 This specification covers minimum-wall-thickness, seamless cold-drawn low-carbon steel tubes for tubular heat exchangers, condensers, and similar heat transfer apparatus.ASTM A179 cold-drawn low-carbon seamless pipe is the most popular and cost-effective base pipe choice for extruded finned tubes (especially steel-aluminum extruded finned tubes). Its core advantages lie in four key aspects: processing adaptation, heat transfer, structure, and cost. It perfectly meets the process and working condition requirements of extruded fins.

 

Seamless structure: No weld seams, uniform wall thickness, avoiding cracking due to stress concentration at weld seams during compression and poor connection of fins.
