C71500: This is the UNS (Unified Numbering System) designation for a specific copper-nickel alloy containing 70% copper (Cu) and 30% nickel (Ni). This alloy is often referred to as 70/30 copper-nickel. The alloy provides good strength and formability, offering a balance between strength, ductility, and ease of fabrication. The material has good workability, allowing for easy bending, welding, and forming into required shapes, such as coils or complex tube arrays.

C71500 offers superior resistance to seawater and other harsh environments, making it ideal for marine applications, offshore platforms, and heat exchangers exposed to corrosive fluids like brine and seawater.

The finning is tight — you can tell they used a proper cold-forming process because the fins don't move at all when you try to wiggle them. We've had issues before with other suppliers where the fins would come loose after a few thermal cycles, but these ones feel solid.
