TP347H exhibits superior strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for high-stress applications. Can withstand temperatures up to approximately 1,200°F (650°C), making it ideal for high-temperature applications. ASME SA213 TP347H Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger Tube is designed for high-temperature applications, offering enhanced corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Made from TP347H stainless steel, it contains higher carbon content and is stabilized with niobium to prevent carbide precipitation.

The finning is tight — you can tell they used a proper cold-forming process because the fins don't move at all when you try to wiggle them. We've had issues before with other suppliers where the fins would come loose after a few thermal cycles, but these ones feel solid.

The 13Cr pins add some cost, but for sour service in furnaces, it's worth it. Already seeing longer run times between turnarounds compared to before.

As an engineer in Siberia, I tested these fin tubes in extreme cold (-30°C). The ASTM A213 T11 steel performed well with no thermal cracks, and cooling efficiency met expectations (88%). That said, the Russian-language documentation had translation errors in technical terms, causing minor confusion during installation.
