Serrated Finned Tubes ASTM A312 TP304H For High Operating Temperature 500℃

 

ASTM A312 TP304H seamless stainless steel pipes are one of the basic and common pipe materials used in manufacturing serrated finned heat exchanger tubes. They are widely used in high-temperature flue gas waste heat recovery, waste heat boilers, HRSG, and industrial air cooling systems.

 

ASTM A312 is standard specification for seamless, straight-seam welded, and heavily cold-worked austenitic stainless steel pipes for high-temperature service.TP304H (UNS S30409) is a high-carbon 304 stainless steel. Its carbon content ranges from 0.04% to 0.10%, and compared to standard TP304 and TP304L, it exhibits superior high-temperature creep strength. Under long-term high-temperature environments, it maintains stable mechanical properties and possesses excellent oxidation resistance and moderate corrosion resistance to flue gases and weak acid media.

Serrated fins are continuously wound around the outer surface of the TP304H base tube and welded using a high-frequency resistance welding process. V-shaped notches are provided at the fin edges to break the fluid thermal boundary layer and enhance turbulence. Compared to ordinary solid finned tubes, the heat transfer efficiency is improved by 25%–40%; the serrated gaps reduce ash deposition and scaling, making it particularly suitable for dusty flue gas conditions.

 

Typical Application:Waste heat recovery boilers, HRSG economizers, industrial air coolers, flue gas heat exchangers, high-temperature process heat transfer equipment for petrochemical and power generation industries.
