ASTM B338 Gr.7 (UNS R52400) Seamless and Welded Titanium Tube For Heat Exchanger and Condenser

ASTM B338 Gr.7 (UNS R52400) seamless and welded titanium tubes are palladium-enhanced alpha titanium alloy tubes specifically designed for heat exchangers and condensers in highly corrosive environments. These tubes combine the inherent corrosion resistance of commercially pure titanium (Grade 2) with 0.12-0.25% palladium addition, significantly improving resistance to reducing acids (e.g., hydrochloric/sulfuric acid) and localized corrosion. Available in both seamless (cold-worked) and welded forms, they exhibit minimum yield strength of 275 MPa (40 ksi) and exceptional thermal conductivity, making them ideal for shell-and-tube heat exchangers, seawater cooling systems, and chemical processing equipment where stainless steels or copper alloys fail prematurely.
