ASTM A312 TP304H  HFW Solid Fin Tube


I. Product Overview


We manufacture this ASTM A312 TP304H seamless HFW fin tube from TP304H austenitic stainless steel—a high-carbon version of 304, specially tailored for high-temperature operating environments.

Its carbon content is strictly controlled within 0.04–0.10%, which boosts its high-temperature strength noticeably. What’s more, it stands up far better to sensitization and intergranular corrosion when exposed to prolonged high heat, a key advantage for long-term use.

We use seamless base pipes and high-frequency welding (HFW) to attach the fins, creating a solid metallurgical bond between the fins and the tube. This design not only expands the heat transfer surface area significantly but also improves thermal efficiency, while maintaining top-notch pressure integrity and leak-tightness.

It’s ideal for high-temperature heat exchangers, boilers, superheaters and other pressure equipment. We can also customize its dimensions to match all kinds of tough industrial application requirements.

IV. Comparison: TP304H vs TP304 Stainless Steel


HighTemperature Performance:

TP304H is optimized for sustained hightemperature operation with better creep strength and oxidation resistance.
TP304 is suitable for general corrosion resistance but may lose strength faster at temperatures above 500°C.

 Chemical Composition:

TP304H has controlled carbon content (0.04–0.10%) for hightemperature stability;
TP304 has lower carbon (≤0.08%) for general purpose use. Both contain Cr (~18–20%) and Ni (~8–11%).
