ASME SA179 Carbon Steel U Bend Boiler Tube for Pressure Vessels


This product is a high-performance piping component specifically designed for pressure vessels and heat exchange equipment. It is manufactured from cold-drawn low-carbon steel tubes (ASME SA179 standard) and precision-bent into a U-shape configuration.

The tube offers excellent thermal conductivity, pressure resistance, and fatigue strength, making it ideal for boilers, condensers, evaporators, and other high-temperature/pressure heat transfer systems. Its U-bend design effectively absorbs thermal expansion stress, reduces the number of welded joints, and enhances equipment reliability and service life.

2. Product Principle


U-tubes are usually used to exchange heat in process fluids with large radiators. The fluid is pumped out through a pipe, through a U-Junction, and then flows back along a pipe parallel to the inflow line.
Heat is transferred to the wrapping material through the wall of the tube. This design is used in industrial applications where many U-tubes can be poured into oil containers with high heat capacity.
