Extruded Finned Tubes

 

Extruded finned tubes are bimetallic tubes whose outer aluminium surface is finned by cold plastic deformation.

 

The general materials of base tubes about the extruded finned tube are carbon steel, copper, alloy, stainless steel ; the general materials of fins about the extruded finned tube are copper, aluminum 1060/1070, aluminum alloy 6063/6061.Therefore, it is generally divided into four categories: steel aluminum composite finned tubes; copper aluminum composite finned tubes; pure aluminum composite finned tubes, pure copper composite finned tube.

 

Extruded finned tubes application:

 

1.Operating temperatures less than 300°C;

2.Offshore or other remote applications;

3.Dry air coolers for air, gas or oil;

4. Air to air heat exchangers for HVAC applications;

The processing technology of steel and aluminum cold-rolled fin tube consists of aluminum tube and steel pipe being processed into bimetal composite tube, and then forming fin after mechanical cold rolling.
 
Based on the physical characteristics of aluminum tube, the tube with steel tube as the core and the cold rolled aluminum fin are made into a finned tube. Widely used in steel, petroleum, chemical industry, machinery, shipbuilding, power stations and hospitals and food industries.
