EN 10217-7 1.4301 Extruded Fin Tubes For Heaters And Coolers

 

EN 10217-7 is a European Standard that specifies the technical delivery conditions for welded stainless steel tubes intended for pressure purposes. 1.4301 is the material designation within that standard, corresponding to the common austenitic stainless steel grade AISI 304.

Definition

 

The extruded fin process creates a large surface area of highly conductive aluminum, dramatically improving heat transfer from the external gas to the internal fluid.
