As same as the ASME SA213 T11 alloy steel HFW (High Frequency Welded) serrated finned tubes, T22 serrated finned tubes are widely used in oil and gas projects or power plant projects, such as heat exchangers, boilers, air coolers, and economizers where maximizing surface area and thermal performance is critical.
SA213 T22 material provides excellent high temperature strength,it is typically used in services up to about 1100°F (593°C). And it has good creep resistance.By the way,T22 is generally considered to have good oxidation resistance and weldability.And The alloy is designed to remain stable under prolonged exposure to its operational temperature range.Thus suitable for boilers, superheaters, and heat recovery systems in power plants and refineries.
Applications
Boilers & Superheaters & Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE) : In thermal power plants and large industrial boilers.
Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRUs) : In the convection sections of chemical process heaters, refinery furnaces, or cement plant kilns.
HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) : economizer, evaporator, and sometimes the low-temperature sections of the superheater.
