ASME SA213 / ASTM A213 specification for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boler, superheater, and heat exchanger tubes. T11 is a chromium-molybdenum ferritic steel.ASTM A213 T11 is a specific type of seamless steel tube made from a chrome-moly alloy, designed to withstand high pressures and temperatures, primarily in the power generation and petrochemical industries.

ASME SA213 T11 alloy steel HFW (High Frequency Welded) serrated finned tubes are widely used in oil and gas projects or power plant projects, such as heat exchangers, boilers, air coolers, and economizers where maximizing surface area and thermal performance is critical.

 

SA213 T11 material provides good high temperature strength and oxidation resistance.By the way,T11 is generally considered to have good weldability, though it requires pre-heating and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) to prevent cracking and restore the mechanical properties in the heat-affected zone (HAZ). And it has better thermal conductivity than austenitic stainless steels, which improves heat transfer efficiency.Thus suitable for boilers, superheaters, and heat recovery systems in power plants and refineries.
