Low Fin Tubes ASTM B111 C12200 Phosphorized Copper Tube For Seawater Condensers
ASTM B111 C12200 copper tube, also known as DHP (Deoxidized High Phosphorus) copper, is commonly used in heat exchangers and condensers, especially operating in seawater environments. C12200 seamless tubes have good thermal conductivity (~390 W/m·K) for efficient heat transfer. And having ecent strength and formability for tube fabrication. Notes: soft temper (annealed) for bending, hard temper for high-pressure applications.

Role Of C12200 Tubes in Seawater Condensers
Seawater condensers (used in ships, desalination plants, and coastal power stations)
C12200 DHP tubes have high thermal conductivity that ensures effective condensation of steam or refrigerant.
Moderate Corrosion Resistance: C12200 tubes perform better than pure copper in saline environments due to phosphorus reducing oxide formation.
But cupronickel (C70600/C71500) and titanium outperform C12200 in harsh seawater environments.
