ASME SB111 C68700 low fin tube is a heat exchanger tube made of CuNi 90/10 copper‑nickel alloy, consisting of about 90% copper and 10% nickel. It features low spiral fins that expand heat transfer surface area and improve efficiency, especially at low flow velocities and in compact spaces. The alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater, along with good strength, biofouling resistance, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking.Common specifications include an outer diameter of 1/4" to 1", standard lengths of 6–20 feet, and 3–10 fins per inch. Wall thickness and fin height can be customized. It is widely used in heat exchangers, condensers, and equipment exposed to seawater, brine, or industrial chemicals.

● Heat Exchangers:
Commonly used in heat exchanger systems, such as those in power plants, HVAC systems, and chemical processing, where space constraints and the need for efficient heat transfer are paramount.
● Marine Applications:
Used extensively in seawater condensers, desalination plants, and offshore oil rigs due to the copper-nickel alloy's superior resistance to seawater corrosion and biofouling.
● Cooling Systems:
Ideal for cooling systems that require high efficiency, such as refrigeration, air conditioning, and industrial process cooling.
● Condensers and Evaporators:
In systems where heat needs to be transferred efficiently from a refrigerant or other medium, this tube is highly effective due to its increased surface area.
● Chemical Processing:
Often used in the chemical and petrochemical industries for cooling fluids or transferring heat between different chemicals, as the material resists many corrosive substances
