Yuhong Group with 45 production lines, is now manufacturing a new batch of high-efficiency finned tubes specially designed for air cooler applications. This batch is currently in full production at our factory, covering both extruded fin tubes and L-type wound fin tubes with AL 1060 aluminum fins, which are widely used in air coolers for petrochemical plants, power stations, natural gas treatment facilities and compressor stations.
Current Batch Highlights
The finned tubes now being produced are engineered for reliable long-term air cooler service. Each tube combines a strong ASME SA179 seamless carbon steel base tube with an integrally wound AL 1060 aluminum fin, delivering excellent heat transfer performance and strong corrosion protection for the base tube.
Factory Production Status
At present, the production lines in our workshop are running at full capacity for this batch of air cooler finned tubes. From incoming material inspection, fin winding and extrusion, to pressure testing and final inspection, every step is strictly controlled by our QC team to ensure dimensional accuracy and stable quality. The current batch is scheduled for on-time delivery to meet our customers' project schedules.
Why Finned Tubes for Air Coolers
Air coolers rely on finned tubes to maximize the heat exchange surface area between the process fluid and ambient air. Compared with bare tubes, finned tubes can increase the heat transfer area by several times, which significantly improves cooling efficiency, reduces the footprint of the air cooler and lowers energy consumption. The L-type wound design provides optimum contact pressure of the fin foot onto the base tube, eliminating contact thermal resistance, while the extruded design forms an integral fin with excellent longevity and superior corrosion protection.
