제품 설명

ASTM A312 TP321H HWF Fin Tube with Carbon Steel Fin

ASTM A312 TP321H is a high-carbon version of the stabilized austenitic stainless steel grade 321. The "H" designation signifies its suitability for high-temperature service, guaranteeing enhanced elevated temperature strength while maintaining excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion due to its titanium stabilization.

The ASTM A312 TP321H HWF (High-Frequency Welded) Fin Tube with Carbon Steel Fin is a specialized bimetallic component engineered for demanding heat transfer applications. It combines a TP321H stainless steel base tube with a carbon steel external fin, creating a cost-effective solution where the corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength of the base tube are critical, while the fin operates in a less aggressive environment.

Key Features & Advantages

1.Optimized Cost-Efficiency: The carbon steel fin provides substantial cost savings compared to an all-stainless-steel construction, without compromising the core tube's performance.

2.Superior High-Temperature Strength: The TP321H base tube offers guaranteed minimum strength at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for superheater and high-temperature heat exchanger applications.

3.Excellent Intergranular Corrosion Resistance: Titanium stabilization prevents chromium carbide precipitation in the base tube during exposure to the sensitization temperature range (450°C - 850°C).

4.Robust Mechanical Bond: The HWF process creates a strong, metallurgical bond between the carbon steel fin and the stainless steel base tube, ensuring low thermal contact resistance and high durability.

5.Enhanced Heat Transfer: The extended fin surface significantly increases the external heat transfer area, improving overall thermal efficiency.

Comparison with Related Options

TP321H HWF with CS Fin vs. Solid TP321H Fin Tube:
The solid TP321H fin tube offers uniform corrosion resistance throughout but at a significantly higher material cost. The bimetallic version is the economical choice where the finned section is not exposed to a corrosive or oxidizing atmosphere severe enough to require stainless steel.

TP321H vs. TP321:
Standard TP321 has a lower maximum carbon content and prioritizes corrosion resistance. TP321H is specifically required for ASME-code high-temperature pressure components due to its guaranteed high-temperature strength.

Applications of ASTM A312 TP321H HWF FinTube

1.Power Plant Boilers: As superheater and reheater tubes in sections where the base tube must withstand high-temperature steam corrosion, while the fins are exposed to less aggressive flue gas.

2.Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs): In economizer and evaporator sections for recovering energy from turbine exhaust gases.

3.Petrochemical Heaters: For convection bank tubes in fired heaters where process-side corrosion resistance is needed, but the fin-side environment is manageable for carbon steel.

4.Industrial Air Heaters: Pre-heating combustion air or process streams, leveraging the cost-effectiveness of carbon steel fins for gas-side heat transfer enhancement.
