Detailes of ASTM A106 Base Tubes

 

ASTM A106 Grade B, which is a standard specification for seamless carbon steel pipe for high-temperature service. It is made of high-quality carbon steel, suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, with a recommended operating temperature range of -29°C up to 425°C. The base tube features good mechanical properties, with a minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa, ensuring reliable performance in power plant heat transfer applications.
